BIBLICAL REFERENCES OF NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

ABSENT FROM THE BODY                                     PRESENT WITH THE LORD

II Corinthians 5

Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
We are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

II Corinthians 12

IN THE BODY--OUT OF THE BODY

World English Bible
Hebrew and Greek Original
1
It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2
I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I don`t know, or whether out of the body, I don`t know; God knows), such a one caught up into the third heaven.
3
I know such a man (whether in the body or apart from the body, I don`t know; God knows),
4
how he was caught up into Paradise and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

2 CORINTHIANS 12
1.For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.

2.For most assuredly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven;
3.if so be that being clothed we will not be found naked.
4.For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
5.Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.
6.Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
7.for we walk by faith, not by sight.
8.We are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
9. Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing to him.
10.For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

"THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST"  is also called  the "BEMA SEAT" which is like a tribal judgment event. This judgment happening is also mentioned in 1 Corinthians 3:10-15

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
each man`s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man`s work is.
If any man`s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
If any man`s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
